The Avec platform previously lacked a dedicated home view, opening directly to the calendar and leaving users without a centralized place for business insights. To address this gap, we designed a personalized home view that provides essential information tailored to the user type, offering a clear and efficient overview of the business.
We identified five user types with distinct roles and needs to optimize the platform's functionality and user experience:
Employees (professionals like hairdressers and barbers) require access to their schedules, clients, and commissions.
Receptionists need an overview of all professionals' agendas to manage the fast-paced salon environment efficiently.
Stockists focus on inventory control, tracking sales, and ensuring products are replenished quickly.
Admins (single-establishment managers) oversee financial transactions and operational details.
Masters, managing multiple establishments, need a comprehensive view of all their businesses in one place.
Then, we created 7 modules that could be personalized for each type of user.
This project was both challenging and rewarding, with tight deadlines and collaboration across multiple teams, including back-end, front-end, banking, and product owners. Navigating these complexities strengthened my ability to coordinate effectively and deliver impactful results under pressure.
